A shorter and lighter-touch aface to face ssessment that will give an overview of Literacy strengths and areas of difficulty, and an indication of Dyslexic tendancies

The hour long session looks at core areas of Literacy: single-word reading and spelling, phonological awareness, phonological processing and phonological memory

A short report within 2 weeks that can be used to target intervention and support

20 minutes Teams meeting after receivig the report

1:1 Specialist Dyslexia Lessons

Lessons are offered weekly during school term time, either at Orchid Eduction or your home

Sessions can vary from 45 minutes to 1 hour

Informal assessments are used and an individualised multisensory programme is then planned for your child

An overview of the short- and long-term targets will be shared with the parents/carers. This will be reviewed on a half termly basis.
